Leo Messi's stunning R800K Rolex

Lionel Messi rocked up to Inter Miami's match on Wednesday wearing a Rolex worth over a whopping R800 000. 

Miami took on Philadelphia in the Leagues Cup semi-final and made light work of them, thrashing their opponents by four goals to one with Messi amongst the goal-scorers.

The Argentinean Maestro has made quite an impression on Major League Soccer, stamping his arrival in America by scoring nine goals in six matches and helping his new side reach the final of the Leagues Cup.

Messi has also made his presence felt off the field, flexing a Rolex worth just over R800 000 . The World Cup winner was spotted with the luxury watch ahead of Miami's clash with Philadelphia. 

The Sky-Dweller 'Black' 336238 in 18k yellow gold is a beautiful visual, and comes with an annual calendar and a second time zone function making it a handy tool for someone who has to do a lot of travelling. 

The seven-time Ballon d'Or winner is not just a one-watch man. He has also been spotted wearing a Patek Philippe Nautilus 5712/1R in 18k rose gold. The watch features a sunburst brown dial with black-gradient rim, horizontally embossed with gold applied hour markers and luminescent coating. 

All of its features come at a hefty price. The watch retails at around  $82 000 (R1 565 029).
