Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki believes too much time has passed since the club last one silverware and is determined to bring success to Naturena once again as he looks ahead to the MTN8.
Amakhosi will not only be aiming for their first win of the new season, but also the chance of winning their first trophy since 2015 when they take on Cape Town City on Sunday.
Ntseki mentioned that everything is pressure at Chiefs due to the high demands but admits that it's been a while since the fans have had a smile put on their faces and wants to present chairman Dr Kaizer Motaung with a trophy.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Chiefs 'ready' to challenge for trophies, reassures Ntseki" story:
"8 years trophy-less and you say the club is used to winning things? Hhayi, very controversial statement Mr. Omo," says Zam d King buccaneer.
"Since pre-season, until now, he hasn't won a game but now he is talking about winning cups? he is delusional," says Dominate-downs.
"Ntseki, talking too much will get you into trouble. Rather refrain from talking to media, close the gates at Naturena. Work hard silently, let the football talk for you.
"Anyway Amabhokobhoko [Chiefs] have always had new players, it's not the first and last time," says His Majesty Yellow PSL Beast.
"Don't play defensive football starting from Sunday, we want to see attacking football, attempts at goals, start with Dove at left back, please. We want OFFENSIVE PLAYERS every game we play, stop playing boring football coach Ntseki, KHOSI 4 LIFE!!" says user827808.
"If it's true that an institution as big as Kaizer Chiefs can't afford Cele for a mere R5m, then we are doomed as supporters. Our team is broke and the sooner we accept our predicaments the better, that's why there's an obsession with promoting youngsters, even when they are not ready," says mogaleramolotja.
"This one still can't win a game and he is already talks of winning a cup," says elkat.
"I don't believe that they will win this one due to lack of confidence from the previous two games, and that Cape Town City is their hoodoo team," says matemane.
"Chiefs has not won a game since Ntseki took over. I stand to be corrected here. Anyway, I hope the quality of the play will be better in the next game.
"We cannot play 45 minutes plus without a strike on target. That is way below par in my view. All the best in the Top 8!" says khothakhosi.

Ntseki has also dismissed concerns regarding the club's new striker Ranga Chivaviro, despite Chiefs only managing one goal since the former Bafana coach tookover.
Chivaviro ended his second appearance for Chiefs without getting onto the scoresheet, but Ntseki is adamant that the 30-year-old will find his feet.
The target-man bagged 17 goals for the relegated Marumo Gallants last season and Ntseki rates him as a quality striker who will start delivering for Amakhosi once his confidence is up again.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Ntseki dismissed Ranga Chivaviro concerns" story:
"The fans must relax and not seek to rush the players at this stage of the season especially when we did not have the usual top pre-season tournaments.
"So, players are going to take much longer to be up to speed with fitness and finishing. Ranga is good, no problem there. It is important to play him more since he did not have pre-season, he needs the loading on the legs to catch up with the teammates. Good one there coach!" says Khothakhosi.
"Your explanation is lame you aware the player is unfit, and you still play him," says Fela.
"Good player playing for the wrong team. If you play with cows, you automatically become a cow. Ask Billiat," says Saavedra.
"Ranga the 2.0 version of Lazarus Kambole," says Micaah.
"The country is fixed, how I wish Sundowns was playing against Chiefs every week. Thapelo 'Slaagpan' Maseko vs Reeva Frosler, I want to see something," says ngwanamoshate.70.
"You see this is what I'm talking about, this guy is a quality player, make no mistake, but the system and the training sessions makes him useless, guys I'm being honest, look at our development players, they were performing tremendously well but after being promoted because of poor training drills and good formation and system in place, they failed.
"Mdu [Shabalala] was a star player, he is far better than Mailula from a development point of view but after being promoted, he is now an ordinary player. I so wish the Kaizer Chiefs management could hear me out. Add more quality in the technical team," says Sk wa Le khosi.
