Steve Komphela felt Kaizer Chiefs were the superior side at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium

Chiefs dropped to seventh in the Absa Premiership standings after losing 1-0 to the Chilli Boys on Wednesday night.

Komphela claimed that the game rested on one key moment at the beginning — an error leading up to Abel Mabaso's fifth minute goal.

"I think in the first half, we committed an error right at the beginning and that was the defining moment," Komphela told SuperSport TV.

"With respect — they did well, Chippa, but I thought in the second half, there was only one team on the park.

"I think the number of chances we created was more than they did, but all we need to do is hit the back of the net."
