Belgian Pro league match report Anderlecht v Eupen

Percy Tau enjoyed another 90 minutes for Anderlecht, who played a 1-1 draw against K.A.S. Eupen in the Belgian Pro League on Sunday afternoon.

There was a spot reserved for Tau, who started across a midfield three for the second league game running following last weekend''s 4-2 win over Waasland-Beveren.

Similarly to last Saturday's fast start, Anderlecht pushed for an earlier in the earlier interplays but the visitors offered little room for Tau and Lukas Nchimha amongst others.

Eupen introduced a change four minutes to the interval as Menno Koch took the place of Benoit Poulain in the heart of the defence, as both sides struggled to get any openings at this point.

This spell of play from the two protagonists would continue well into the second half, with Tau amongst a few individuals on the side of Anderlecht seeing a lot of the ball.

Following a tight spell, midway in the second stanza, the hosts had their noses in front 71 minutes gone following a stunning hit from Sambi Lokonga off possession turn over from Eupen.

Eupen pulled the cat out of the bag deep in stoppage time when Julien Ngoy came up with the goods from a threatening area to bulge the back of the net and force a share of the spoils in the process.
