‘Ace’ played a pivotal role for Bucs in the run-in to the treble and has continued where he left off last season during recent pre-season games. He has in the process impressed Gullit, the former Holland international.
Gullit was speaking to the Sowetan when he revealed his affection for the Mohlakeng-born midfielder during the Carling Black Label Cup over the weekend.
“That player wearing jersey number 20 for Orlando Pirates [Manyisa], sorry I don't remember his name, is something out of this world. He was comfortable on the ball, he knows what to do when he is in possession,” said Gullit, who is the ambassador of the Carling Cup featuring Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs.
