Kendry Paez is reported to have been recorded at a strip club in New York while out with his Ecuador teammates.

A 16-year-old Chelsea wonderkid has reportedly found himself in serious hot water after being caught on film visiting a strip club.

Kendry Paez currently plies his trade in his home nation of Ecuador for top-flight club Independiente Del Valle, but has already agreed a deal that will see him join the Blues when he hits the 18-year-old mark.

However, the teenager is believed to be in some big trouble after a video of him at a strip club in New York, America, surfaced online while on international duty.

The clip, which has already done the rounds on social media, also captured some of Paez's more senior teammates waving cash in the air while a model dances in front of them.

The Ecuadorian Football Federation (FEF) has since revealed that the players had a certain period of free time, and that despite them reportedly spending some of that time in a strip club, the time given had been respected.

It is said the players' evening out took place the night before the side's 2-0 loss to Italy in an international friendly early on Sunday morning.

The teammates reported to have been involved alongside Paez are Robert Arboleda, Piero Hincapie and Gonzalo Plata, with an FEF investigation into the matter now understood to be underway.

"Given the facts of public knowledge, the FEF expresses the following: The official delegation had free time on Friday, March 22, from 2:00pm to 8:30pm, a schedule that was fully complied with," the EFF said in a statement, per the Mirror.

"Images of events contrary to the values and principles that we defend and promote as an institution have been disseminated, which will be reasons for analysis for future calls."

The future Chelsea star became the youngest player ever to represent Ecuador's senior national team in September last year, when he participated a 2-1 victory over Uruguay in a FIFA World Cup qualifier.
