Pitso Mosimane is facing a must win contest on Thursday night as he gets to familiarise himself with relegation terrain in Saudi Arabia.
This is the first ever relegation job that Mosimane has had to handle since his first head coaching job at SuperSport United back in 2001.

He has overseen four games since taking over at Saudi Pro League club Abha Club, winning one, drawing one and losing two.
Four points out of 12 has meant nothing has changed about Abha’s position on the standings as they remain second from bottom and one of three facing the drop.
Eleven games remain, including Thursday night’s (21h00) must-win at home against Al Wehda.
Al Wehda – who have former Manchester United striker Odion Oghalo – sit in the bottom half and have not won a match from the four that they have played this year under their Greek coach Georgis Donis.
As players in Greece, Donis and Mosimane came up against each other several times.
The match against Al Wehda is one of those that Mosimane has ticked as three points on his relegation plot with another five home games to play, including one against Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane’s Al Nassr on April 2.
Beyond the game tonight, the former Mamelodi Sundowns coach will take interest in teams nearest to his ahead of the FIFA break.
Bottom-placed Al Hazm (15 points) also play at home against Al Shabab at the same time in a fixture that will also be of interest to Abha.

The other game involving the bottom three has Al Tai at home on Friday night against Steven Gerrard’s Al Ettifaq.
Ettifaq smashed Abha 3-0 in their last game.
Al Riyadh – who occupy the last safety spot and will be the next opponents for Mosimane after Al Wehda – travel to Al Fayha on Friday.
