Kaizer Chiefs starlet Samkelo Zwane has revealed which Amakhosi player he looked up to growing up.
The Chiefs academy graduate got his first taste of top -flight football action this season, making his debut in October last year against Stellenbosch and got his first senior start for in December against Golden Arrows.
Zwane has featured seven times for Chiefs and is considered the long-term replacement for Njabulo Blom who left Amakhosi in December.
In a recent interview with Mahlatse Mphahlele, the 21-year-old defensive midfielder has identified Reneilwe Letsholonyane as the one local player he looked up to growing up.
"Locally? Letsholonyane for sure," Zwane responded when asked which player he grew up watching."

Letsholonyane was a key part of a Chiefs side that blew away the opposition in a record-breaking Absa Premiership season under Stuart Baxter and eventually won the 2014/15 league title.
"Yes [I’ve had a chance to speak with Letsholonyane], he coached me actually, at Chiefs, while he was doing his coaching badges," added Zwane.
"He was helping us, the whole development team. He was giving us advice and tips. [He was helping us on] just things like always be on the move as a midfielder, always know what is happening, create an option for your teammate. He just gave me good advice as a midfielder."
Zwane was part of the South African Under-23 squad that unfortunately failed to qualify for the Under-23 African Cup of Nations (Afcon) and the Paris Olympics. The midfielder is in line to feature when Amakhosi host Stellenbosch on Saturday at FNB Stadium.
