South African coach Roger De Sa has responded to reports coming out of Egypt that he is still owed bonus monies by the North African country's Football Association.
De Sa was appointed assistant to head coach Carlos Queiroz by the Egyptian FA ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, where they inspired the Pharaohs to the final, before losing out on penalties to Senegal.

A report in Egyptian publication btolat has claimed that De Sa and Queiroz are owed bonus monies from that Afcon campaign.
"The Egyptian Football Association is still ignoring my dues. I hope this will end, but I still have arrears with the Football Association," De Sa is quoted as saying in the report.
"The reward for beating Cameroon in the semi-finals, the reward for the runners-up of the African Nations, as well as the reward for beating Senegal in the first leg of the World Cup qualifiers.
"It's the same for Queiroz, he didn't get these dues either."
For clarity on the story, KickOff reached out to the former Orlando Pirates coach, who admitted that they are still owed just one bonus payment by the Egyptian FA and that the latter are not denying it.
"There's still one bonus payment still due to us from two years ago, Africa Cup of Nations, that's all," De Sa said.
"They are following it up, they've been paying it, but it's not fully paid yet."
The 59-year-old also allayed any fears that the matter could be referred to FIFA.
"No, no, I'm sure they'll comply, they've just been paying, they are just taking time."

Following his spell with the Egyptian national team, de Sa was appointed assistant manager to Queiroz by Iran in September 2022 and the Portuguese-speaking pair moved together again to the Qatar national team early last year.
