Mamelodi Sundowns made it six league wins in six after a 2-0 win over Polokwane City, curtesy of a brace from in-form Brazilian Lucas Ribeiro.
Ribeiro now tops the top goal scorer standings as he scored within the first 20 minutes and slotted a penalty in the 50th-minute after Marcelo Allende was brought down.
Masandawana finished with only ten-men at the Peter Mokaba Stadium after substitute Lebohang Maboe was given his marching orders after a poor challenge just four minutes before full-time.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Ribeiro's brace fires Downs to sixth straight win" story:
"Seems like Hlungwane has pressured the refs to give unwarranted red cards to Downs players, Maboe's red card was very questionable," says makhause(2).
"I'll say it again, it's scary how Sundowns is not at their best, yet they are not losing any matches and Chiefs is literally giving it their all and still losing matches.
"7th league in-a-row for the Brazilians," says StheLucipher.
"Poor subs, no need for Lebusa," says tshepolegodi.za.
"Awe boys keep the momentum and collect as many points as possible because this season will be the longest that you have ever encountered. Good first half," says zambroty.
"The line-up is interesting, the bench looked very thin," says Zebra to hell.
"We play for a win Masandawana. A warning short to Chiefs on Saturday. The sky is the limit," says malizakhe8.

In his post-match interview, Stellenbosch FC boss Steve Barker felt that his side were unlucky not to grab points against Kaizer Chiefs who beat them 2-0 on Wednesday night at the Athlone Stadium.
Barker insists that Stellies deserved more from the encounter due to their bright start and mentioned that Chiefs didn't know what they wanted to do in the build-up.
The Western-Cape outfit went down to a thunder-strike by Pule Mmodi and an 89th-minute strike by Christian Saile Basomboli, with a Devin Titus red card in the 55th-minute making life harder for the men in maroon last night.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Barker - 'I felt Chiefs didn't really know what they wanted to do...'" story:
"I have to agree with Barker here. Chiefs does not play their normal game that Zwane was taking us back to. This headless chicken running is not good for a big team like ours. Nothing wrong with a counterattack but it cannot be the only thing we do.
"Why is the passing game so poor?! Players are all over the place and sometimes running into each other. Something needs to change, and it better be soon because we are working way too hard by not keeping the ball. Blasting it forward with high balls while our players are small and short! This is not the way, surely," says Khothakhosi.
"This one was beaten lekker, that is how you beat someone - they must not see you coming, they must not know how, when, and what hit them," says Wild.Dog.
"I heard him say 'hopefully we will one day finish the game with 11 players against Chiefs' but never heard him call his players out for ill-discipline," replies Danito 4 Life.
"The heading of the article though... So, if the coach felt that Chiefs didn't know what they wanted to do, why did he not take advantage of that then?" adds Danito.
"Some Chiefs fans are being delusional as always, I am a Chiefs fan, but I can't celebrate these wins, they give big sense of false hope.
"Chiefs has never been a running team, this reliance on speed says a lot about the lack of tactical acumen. Considering how prone they are to injuries because they don't have a proper conditioning coach," says spoko1304.
"Then my fellow Khosi fans, it seems you have a lot of explaining to do to Jose Mourinho, because all his cups were won with these tactics. I do not like how we play but if it brings positive results, I'm not complaining," replies sizweking.
"Chiefs were all over the place. They didn't know what they were doing. But goals give you wins. They are the lucky team as always," says Saavedra.
"Barker said 'luck'. Dankie Barker, we all know they are a lucky team since their inception," says His Majesty Yellow PSL Beast.
"I hope Chiefs continue to play like they do because then the drought will continue. But Barker is wrong, Chiefs wanted to get an early goal. Credit to Stellies, they didn't give them that.
"After that, Stellies were dominant, but Chiefs got the first goal against run of play. Goals win you matches; Barker should acknowledge that. They parked the bus against Pirates but got the winning goal. Then Barker and Booth thought they deserved the win!" says msanisto.
"Relax coach, they knew what they were doing, they just confused you and gave you a hiding," says luckymasilela437.
"Goals win matches, I'm happy when you play well and lose because against us, you parked the bus, got a lucky goal and won, now you're getting a taste of your medicine from Chiefs," says Zam d king buccaneer.
"I'm inclined to agree with him. I really don't know what our coach is doing yet. Between Maart and Castillo, someone is lost and confused. Let's hope it gets better soon," replies mphesi.
