Kaizer Chiefs defeated Orlando Pirates for the fifth time in a row after a narrow 1-0 in the Soweto Derby on Saturday afternoon.
A late on-goal by Bucs substitute Olisa Ndah saw Amakhosi walk away with all three points, making it a league double over their fiercest rivals.
On the hour mark, Pirates skipper Innocent Maela was sent off for denying Christian Saile Basomboli a clear goal-scoring opportunity, which gave the Glamour Boys a numerical advantage for a large part of the second stanza.

"That coach was supposed to sub Timm and Dzvukamanja, why? Because Chiefs centre backs were on holiday. Put Monyane and Makhaula because Timm was on a yellow card, then play Saleng as a number 9... but oops, he invited a goal as chiefs were not that strong, as they were not breaking that defence easily.
"Pirates players I can't blame them, as they play to please the coach. Bucs is not playing football as they rely on athleticism, no combination play, it's long balls all the way. Ndlondlo is not playing to his full potential. The most watched teams in PSL, but both of them were poor. No penetration or individual brilliance."
"Lorch was not at his best and I don't blame him, he's been out of action for some time but he was looking promising when we were going forward. The coach made a blunder by substituting him. Up the Bucs," says morewasn.

"So Erasmus was promised game time by sitting on the bench? He has only scored a single goal in 13 games. Not a good return at all. Soon he will be insulting their coach. His attitude is very bad. He does not care about the team but only himself," says Sva2022.

Pirates' assistant coach Sergio Almenara said the second half of the Soweto Derby belonged to them.
Almenara has been standing in for suspended head coach Jose Riveiro admitted that Chiefs were the better side in the first half.
The Spaniard, who insisted that it was a game of two halves, mentioned that it was unfair for the game to be decided through an own goal.
A KO reader in the "Assistant coach: Bucs were better that Chiefs..." story, had a correction for Almenara:
"I can correct what he said, for free. Pirates played better in the second half. They didn't play better than Chiefs. They played better than they did in the first half. In the first half they were chasing Chiefs' shadows. Second half they parked the bus until they scored an own goal," says siyaz.
Miyenimg replied:
"Yeah neh! Some coaches like complicating things you know, Why did we have a right back first half?"
