KO Comments

Mozambican international Stanley Ratifo detailed his time spent at Kaizer Chiefs as part of an assessment during the January transfer window when Zwane was seeking to widen his attacking options.

Plying his trade in the Germany's fifth tear, the 28-year-old was assessed alongside Maurizio Macorig, Amansio Joao Pita 'Neymar' Canhembe and Christian Saile Basomboli, who eventually cracked the nod at Amakhosi.

Ratifo spoke glowingly about the Glamour Boys and says it would be a pleasure to play for the Soweto Giants.

Here's how the readers responded on the "Chiefs trialist: 'If Chiefs want me to come'..." story:

"He will oblige. That's called an upgrade. From 5th tier league?" says mogaseaub.

"Another Bimenyimana this one, sign him or not he will not make any difference," says GrootmankaBrian.

"28, playing high school football in Germany... wants to join the biggest club in Africa... aygubhe. makahambe (He must go)," says ilangalethu.

"Biggest club in Soweto (not in Africa) where have you seen a big club going 7 years without a trophy? Or you can say famous club in Southern Africa because in some parts of Africa, they don't know anything called Kaizer Chiefs..." responded Dawanadserialwinner.

Former Chiefs attacking midfielder, Gert Schalkwyk has backed Amakhosi to lift the Nedbank Cup trophy.

He was left impressed by Chiefs' display against Maritzburg United, despite the match going into extra time.

Schalkwyk also mentioned that the team is starting to gel and credited Mangethe for utilising the youngsters.

Here's how the readers responded to his comments on the "Schalkwyk backs Chiefs to lift Nedbank Cup" story:

"Anything is possible in football. However this project is still not convincing. The style, system, philosophy is still not clear. The reputation seems to be the one thing that's carrying the AmaKhosi through this inconsistent journey. We hope and pray for the best," says Mako147.

"And lets not forget that Chiefs only won in extra time and of course, playing against 10-men," says makhause2.

"This poor Schalkwyk is just wishing for something good to happen at Chiefs but the fact is, things are not happening in Naturena. Downs rule!" says Downs=Winning.

"Next round they will be out," says Dominate-downs.
