LaLiga has been given the green light to return next month by Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.
Teams have been in training for a couple weeks now, which gave an indication that competitive football would soon be on the horizon.

Sanchez announced on Saturday that the Spanish top flight and second division will be allowed to resume as of 8 June 2020.

LaLiga will become the second of Europe's top five leagues to resume after the Bundesliga got their 2019/20 campaign back underway last weekend.
The league is expected to resume behind closed doors, with FC Barcelona and Real Madrid to continue to their fight for the league title.
