Jomo Cosmos returned to winnings ways after their mid-week defeat to Black Leopards, beating Milano 2-1 at the Vaal Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Charlton Mashumba continued his fine scoring form as he opened the scoring for Ezenkosi.
Matsilela Sono Jnr doubled Cosmos’ lead before Waseem Isaacs pulled one back for Milano, but it wasn't enough as the home side finished the game as 2-1 winners to remain in second place on the NFD table with 35 points. Milano slip further down in the promotion race and now trail leaders Golden Arrows by seven points.
