Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has explained why they loaned out one of their new signings.

Right back Nyiko Mobbie was signed from relegated Free State Stars before the start of the new season, but Mosimane made it clear that the player would be loaned out, though at the time there was no clear indication as to which club he would join.
The player signed for rookies Stellenbosch FC for the season, where he should get enough game time before heading to Chloorkop to challenge for a spot in the starting line-up.
Mosimane says Mobbie would not have had many opportunities to play had he not gone out on loan.
"He found a home at Stellenbosch, which is good. He'll play more games there than at Mamelodi Sundowns. It's about playing, it's about the opportunity to play. We have Anele [Ngcongca] in that space at right-back. We have Thapelo [Morena] at right-back," Mosimane said.
"In Seychelles we played [Motjeka] Madisha as a right-back and he provided good combination play for us to get the first goal and he played very well. So we have three [at right-back]. To have four does not make sense.
"You are trying to avoid this issue of not being able to play at Sundowns."
