The former University of Pretoria man has been enjoying great form since joining the side and has not looked back since winning his first Man of the Match award during a Betway Premiership match against Magesi FC in Polokwane two weekends ago.

'Ben 10', as he is fondly known by local football lovers, has made nine appearances and scored one goal for so far this term.

"He is playing a big role in our team. He is the heartbeat of the team," says Zwane, responding to a KickOff.com enquiry.

"I have said it previously, he is the one that controls the rhythm  of the game. He is experienced. He makes life easy  for players, he guides them with his experience.

"He is also trying to take our players close to him so that they can learn a lot from him. He is also sharing a lot with our youngsters with his experience.

"He is someone that likes to share. He is coaching the youngsters both on and off the field, and that's what we need. He is playing a big role in the team," added the man nicknamed '10111'.

Zungu is expected to lead Usuthu when they visit his former team Sundowns in a league match in Tshwane on Tuesday.
