Netherlands 1-0 Belgium

Netherlands secured their spot in the UEFA Nations League semi-finals with a 1-0 win over Belgium at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam.

Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk netted the winner late in the second half after the first period between the nations finished goalless.

There was a late scare for the Oranje where the Red Devils almost levelled from an own-goal, but fortunately enough it wasn’t to be and the Dutch marched on to the semi-final.

Denmark 2-0 France

Defending World champions France finished third in Group 1 following a 2-0 loss to Denmark on Sunday.

First-half goals from Kasper Dolberg and Andreas Skov Olsen brought the reigning World champions to a disappointing defeat.

Les Blues, who won the Nations League last year, are now unable to defend their crown but will remain in the top league along with Denmark, who had to settle for second spot.

Austria 1-3 Croatia

Croatia clinched top spot in Group 1 with a 3-1 win over Austria, who were relegated to League B on Sunday.

Real Madrid star Luka Modric made the breakthrough for the visitors early on, but Christoph Baumgartner responded in the matter of minutes.

The Croats regained advantage in the second half courtesy of Marko Livaja before Dejan Lovren completed the triumph that ensured top spot for his nation.

Wales 0-1 Poland

Wales were relegated from League A Group 4 to League B as Poland struck early in the second half to secure a 1-0 win in Cardiff.

There were no goals came in the first half, but Karol Swiderski bagged the winner moments inside the second period to hand Poland maximum points.

The Poles will be back in League A next season while Wales will be back in the second tier after a disappointing campaign.
