Following their stunning 4-3 win over Manchester United, reports now suggest that a Chelsea star has decided he wants to leave the club at the end of the season.
The Blues' transfer business has been under the microscope for several windows now, ever since the Todd Boehly-led ownership took over the club in 2022.

While it is widely reported that the London side has spent more than £1 billion pounds (R23.4 billion) on signings since then, many stars have also left the club during this period, with a massive 25 players having left the west London outfit from the beginning of the current campaign, although some exits have been loan moves.
One such player who was sent out on loan is Dutch star Ian Maatsen, who joined Borussia Dortmund in January 2024.
The 22-year-old is due to return to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, with his BVB deal not including an option to buy.
However, according to Sky Germany, Maatsen no longer wants to return to Chelsea and would like to stay at Dortmund.
The report claims that the fullback has told his representatives of his decision, and that the Blues have been made aware of his stance.
The Bundesliga giants are said to be equally keen to retain the left-back as he has impressed during his short stint at the club to date, notching up one goal and two assists in 13 games for the club so far.
BVB, though, are believed to be more keen on agreeing another loan spell instead of triggering Maatsen's reported £35 million (R822 million) release clause in his Chelsea deal.
