A senior official at Abha Club has claimed that manager Pitso Mosimane has revealed a certain Al Ahly star to be one of the best players he has coached in his career.
Mosimane's time with the Egyptian giants seems like a distant memory, with the South African coach now in his third job since leaving the Egyptian club in 2022.

Since then, he has had stints with Al Wahda in the United Arab Emirates and Al Ahli in Saudi Arabia, whom he helped seal promotion from the second tier to the Saudi Pro League in 2022/23.
During the course of his well-travelled career, the now-Abha boss has managed a number of highly talented footballers, and it has now been claimed that he feels a Red Devils star was one of the best players he has coached to date.
According to Abha Club women's coach Fayza Haider, who is also a former Egypt national women's team captain, the ex-Mamelodi Sundowns boss believes Al Ahly left-back Ali Maaloul is one of the best footballers he has managed.
"Pitso Mosimane is still a lover and lover of the Egyptian Al Ahly Club and its fans, as well as its players, and he always talks about the greatness, history and achievements of Al Ahly," Haider said on Youth and Sports Radio, per Kora Plus.
"Pitso Mosimane succeeded, in a short time, to write his name in golden letters in the records and history of Al Ahly club, and his departure from it was unexpected, and certainly any coach who leaves Al Ahly will be sad about that.
"Mosimane always says in all his conversations with us here, that the quality of Al Ahly players is completely different from any team, and Ali Maaloul is one of the best Al Ahly players and the players he has coached in his life."
