Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena is disappointed about the departure of midfielder Erwin Saavedra from Chloorkop.
Saavedra has returned home to Bolivia after a disappointing stay at Sundowns.
The 28-year-old midfielder signed with the Brazilians in 2022 but struggled with his injuries that saw him undergo surgery last year. Saavedra has since signed for Club Bolivar until the end of the season.

Mokwena believes Masandawana missed a chance to see the best of the Bolivian midfielder during his stay at Chloorkop.
"I don’t want to talk about Erwin Saavedra’s issue, it happened when we were out of the country. I don’t have information about what happened.
"Some things don’t fall on my table, what falls on my table are players that are available and work with, what I see on the pitch, and if the players are not on the pitch, I try not to shift my focus too much and that’s why we have Sporting Director and senior management to deal with those issues.
"But they do brief me on them for sure," said Mokwena.

"What I do know is that he is a very good player. I think he will resurrect his career. Do I have a certain feeling of disappointment? Of course, I think so, I don’t think we got the opportunity to see a very talented player.
"I think Saavedra has got lot of qualities that could have helped him become a top Sundowns player but was unfortunate with injuries. He couldn’t recover from the first injury and that’s disappointing and it hurts me because we could have seen and witnessed an outstanding football player.
"However, I don’t think the door is completely closed but as I said, it's a matter that falls with the leadership of the club," he added.
