Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma believes there is still value in what remains of their season which will end without silverware for the ninth consecutive season.
While Chiefs still have 12 games to play in the league, their chances of even challenging Mamelodi Sundowns for the title are already like smoke in the air.
This then leaves the question on what remains to play for.
"In the league we have to finish as high as possible and at least get back to CAF (competitions)," says Bvuma.

"I think that will be a good sign for us as players and the club in that we are working hard.
"We are looking forward to playing the remaining league games, performing, winning, and making sure that we get back to the CAF competitions," he notes.
To get into continental football, Chiefs must finish third, but they are five points off this mark which will ensure they play in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Beyond Chiefs’ trophy barren spell, Bvuma has been one of the few positives to emerge this season at Chiefs.
Chiefs are yet to lose a match in open play in the seven games that Bvuma has played.
The 28-year-old has conceded just once in seven games.
"Every keeper wants to keep clean sheets, but I will be lying if I said I have managed to do it on my own.
"Defending starts from upfront and I can’t take all the credit because they have been blocking very well for me.
"I’m happy with my performance and form after having not been playing for a long time which shows that hard work pays.
"All we can do in football is move forward and we are looking forward to the next game.
"I’m happy with the record and the way I came because everything just worked well.

"It is an achievement to be playing for this team as the biggest team in Africa.
"So, for me to be playing consistently, I take it as a blessing," says Bvuma.
