Let's take a closer look at what they had to say...

KO Comments

Mangethe is backing Siyabonga Ngezana to continue his impressive displays for Amakhosi are after rediscovering his form in recent weeks.

Ngezana scored Chiefs' solitary goal in a narrow win over Richards Bay in Durban over the weekend, which saw them maintain 4th spot, level on points with Orlando Pirates.

Zwane also mentioned that he's happy for Ngezana and that people are too quick to write off players after they've made big mistakes.

Here's how the fans reacted on the "Zwane backing Ngezana to continue impressive form" story:

"Ngezana must keep working hard. He will be a good player soon. He has all that is required to make it big in this game. He must have courage to go try it out overseas when the opportunity arrives. I have seen very average defenders playing UCL on my tv screen. No doubt he can make it there, he is solid! Khosi 4 life!!" says Khothakhosi.

"I've always touted Ngezana as our future centre back until his recent costly blunders. I will renew my confidence in him again and see how it goes this time around.

"The problem with him is his inconsistency. If he can get that aspect of his game sorted, he may even make it to the national team. He has all the physical attributes to be a good defender. The onus is on him," says gsithole.

"Yeah he is starting to be himself and playing with confidence," says Danito 4 Life.

Read: Why Zwane had to 'save' Chiefs star from angry supporters

Zwane explained why he had to come to the rescue of Burundian striker Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana during Chiefs' win over Richards Bay.

Bimenyimana started alongside Christian Saile Basomboli upfront over the weekend and during the second half, the lanky striker found himself on the receiving end of some verbal abuse from spectators.

The fans having a go at Bimenyimana prompted Zwane to substitute him with 20 minutes left in the game. Bimenyimana is still the club's top scorer with seven goals in the DStv Premiership, but has gone eight matches without a goal for the Glamour Boys.

Here's how the fans reacted to the "Why Zwane had to 'save' Chiefs star from angry supporters" story:

"It's only in South Africa where you see the so-called supporters killing their own players morally and psychologically. Supporting is not about booing and swearing at players.

"If a player's performance is low you try to lift his spirit by chanting his name showing support not this thing of rolling hands. It really kills players spirit. Let's understand what supporting is all about," says jamesonngcoboj64.

"To date I have never been a fan of Bimenyimana. I am using the words to date because my opinion concerning him can still change if he puts in a decent performance to his game. My criticism of him is not and will never be personal.

"I give praise where it's due. I do not condone the booing however. He had a well taken shot saved by the goalkeeper which on another day would have gone in," says gsithole.

"For us is to support the players not booing guys, we are not helping but distracting our team," says kleinbooimsiza724.

"Eish, it's crazy what human beings can do to another fellow human, this Bimenyimana guy is human. South African soccer followers can be very cruel, can you imagine what that jeering and swearing is doing to the young man, he is only 25, for Gods' sake," says mthunzijack7.
