Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly sent a plane of supplies to aid victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. Check it out!

What Happened?

The former Manchester United star is said to have been deeply affected by the disaster causing a severe impact on people’s lives who lost their homes and livelihood.

The Portugal legend has paid for tents, food packages, pillows and blankets, beds, baby food and milk and medical supplies to help aid the humanitarian effort.

Ronaldo has sent to both Turkey and Syria as many have been affected.

The veteran also helped this Syrian boy achieve this dream of meeting the forward. 

This is not the first time the superstar has shown his charitable nature.

Ronaldo once paid £69 000 (R1.5 million) to pay for child’s brain surgery and donated £137 000 (R2.9 million) to help fund a cancer centre in his native Portugal.

The Al-Nassr star, who had also donated £1 million (R21 million) to Portuguese hospitals during the height of the coronavirus pandemic.

Did you know?

Spanish journalist Pipi Estrada reported in 2016 that it has emerged that the competition's top scorer this term donated his entire bonus—some €600,000—to charity.
