Tensions appear to be high once again at Paris Saint-Germain, with superstar Neymar having reportedly clashed with two of his teammates as well as the club's sporting director following the team's latest defeat.

PSG were handed their third Ligue 1 defeat of the campaign on Saturday, when Monaco's Aleksandr Golovin netted in the fourth minute before Wissam Ben Yedder scored a brace to seal a 3-1 win, while Warren Zaire-Emery scored the only goal for the visitors.

The Parisians' squad was reported to have been hit with a stomach virus in the lead-up to the match, while they were also without Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi due to injury.

While Neymar thus led the charge, he was left visibly frustrated by some of his teammates during the tie. According to L'Equipe, the Brazilian scolded his colleagues Vitinha and Hugo Ekitike for their underwhelming display during the match.

It is said the 31-year-old was frustrated with the latter's poor decision-making, and was left equally disappointed with the former's inability to play him the passes he wanted.

Tensions increased further when sporting director Luis Campos took to the dressing room after the fixture to tell the players their performance was gutless and criticised the team's attitude, saying they showed a "lack of aggressiveness".

Campos' words reportedly did not sit well with both Neymar and his compatriot Marquinhos, with the Brazilians then arguing with the club chief, insisting that his complaints were not the issue for their loss.

The angry exchange in the dressing room was said to have lasted quite a while,a nd left many staff members shocked.

Defender Presnel Kimpembe later attempted to ease the tension with the team's fans, using a megaphone to apologise to the annoyed supporters at the Stade Louis II.

Les Parisiens' latest loss is understood to have prompted about 30 supporters to mobilise a peaceful protest outside PSG's training ground on Sunday.
