In a shocking exclusive, Kick Off revealed that a Mamelodi Sundowns player has allegedly tested positive for an illegal substance.

The unidentified player has reportedly been suspended by the club after testing positive for recreational drug use.

The player has been an absentee in Sundowns' CAF Champions League squads for group matches against Al Hilal, Coton Sports and Al Ahly.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "EXCLUSIVE | Sundowns player allegedly tests positive for illegal substance" story:

"That's why Chiefs did not sign Sipho Mbule. He's not worth what Sundowns paid for him," says user853624.

"Even if 15 points are deducted still, the rest won't catch up with Sundowns," says thulasmda.

"They should have dealt with it privately. They should have tried to find a way not to let the story leak," says thabotouchme.

"All those who are not Sundowns supporters and they are more interested in the name of the player, we as Sundowns supporters, we know our team is professional and will deal with the situation professionally.

"So, there is nowhere it was mentioned that the player is a South African and Sirino has not featured in our last three games. So stop guessing, rather focus on your teams fighting for the second spot in the league," says bhekilekhuleni6.

"PSL must deduct points lol," says Mawawa.

"And on point deduction, its a wishful thinking, not done before. They must take took full responsibility of their actions, they were not sent or instructed by the club to engaged in unfair practice," says mabobzin5.

Jabu Pule's latest online rant saw the ex-Glamour Boy and Buccaneer complain about the standard of football at Saturday's Soweto Derby.

The tight game saw Amakhosi come away with their fifth league win in-a-row over the Buccaneers in a 1-0 victory, curtesy of an own-goal from substitute Olisa Ndah.

The game only saw four shots on target, with both teams managing two efforts each, with none in the first half, which disappointed Pule.

Pule also pointed out that the fans pay money to watch a quality game and that there's a lot the players need to do to improve.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "'It was like watching 10-year-olds' - Jabu Pule slams Soweto derby" story:

"He must go back to school first this one, before we can engage him in any matter," says Shikabala

"Overrated - Battle of the fallen Giant," says mashifanae.

"How do we say the game is interesting, probably because of the goals scored. But will we say the teams are disappointing or is because the defence lines of both teams have done their job very well. if there are no shots on target maybe it's because the defenders are not even allowing strikers to take shots at goal.

"I think even the last two victories from my beloved Amakhosi is due to a very slight mistake from the Bucs defence, then the goal," says onoxgofetamang.

"Whoever wants to watch proper football must just watch Sundowns games, klaar. This derby thing is just a hype made by history prisoners," says His Majesty Yellow PSL Beast.
