An African star has reportedly left his club after making just one appearance because he was not happy with the team's poor facilities.
Six-capped Nigeria international Sylvester Igboun has abruptly cut his season-long deal with Indian top-flight side NorthEast United short after being dissatisfied with the accommodation provided to him by the club, per Khel Now.

The centre-forward arrived at the club as a free agent on a one-year-old deal in September ahead of the 2022/23 Indian Super League (ISL) campaign, although he missed the first two games of the season due to visa issues.
The 32-year-old, who previously resided in Russia for seven years representing various clubs, made a 19-minute cameo against East Bengal FC last Thursday, a match that has seemingly proved to be his first and last for the outfit.
"Sly [Igboun] has left the club facilities due to poor accommodation," a source close to the team told Khel Now.
"He was very disappointed to see the state of place that the club provided him.
"Apparently many players are unhappy with the living conditions. But Sylvester Igboun was the one who chose to walk out first."
In March this year, the marksman terminated his contract with Russian top-flight club Nizhny Novgorod due to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine following FIFA's decision to allow foreign players to leave teams from the former if they wished to do so.

At the time, Igboun had only a few months remaining on his contract, with his advisors explaining that the decision was taken after a lengthy discussion with the striker's family.
