Another week ‘behind bars’ for PSL club
TS Galaxy have another week of clearing their name from the FIFA transfer ban issues which have left them ‘behind bars’ and unable to enjoy the freedom of fielding new signings.
Tim Sukazi’s club announced eight new players last week ahead of their MTN8 quarterfinal against Sekhukhune United but could not field any of them due to the registration bans.

Ntandoyenkosi Nkosi, Anslin William, Matome Mmolai, Mzwandile Dlamini, Siyabonga Nguessan, Onke Moletshe, Sedwyn George, and Veluyeke Zulu were all not eligible to play as the club remains blacklisted from registering new players.
Part of the reasons for that MTN8 defeat on Saturday was that they had limited options, giving away a two-goal lead to end up losing 3-2.
For all the efforts that TS Galaxy made over the last week, clearing three of the four transfer bans that they have been sitting on, they suffered a setback last week when another sanction was added.
Three of the bans, which came into effect on December 9 and 19 last year and May 7 (2025), were all lifted last week.
This left only one ban (effected on April 29 and to remain in place until lifted) from three months ago as an outstanding issue, but there is a fresh addition (according to FIFA) last Wednesday, making it two to clear.
All these bans have come into effect after players took their breach of contract claims to FIFA.
TS Galaxy have another pending case involving Jegbay Morris Konneh, who won his case at FIFA’s DC and must now be paid USD118 800 (approx. R2,1 million).
The club immediately asked for the grounds of the decision, which sets aside the 45-day notification to pay, which if not honoured then would lead to another registration ban.
