Mashonisa: Broos hates Kaizer Chiefs

In this edition of the Supporters Forum, Kaizer Chiefs die-hard supporter Jack "Mashonisa" Zwane is unhappy with Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos's continued disregard for players from the club.

Mashonisa accuses the Belgian coach of showing bias against the Soweto giants.

He believes that players like Mfundo Vilakazi and Mduduzi Shabalala have proven themselves worthy of at least a spot on the national team's bench.

"These days, we only support Bafana Bafana because they represent South Africa. Other than that, I believe this coach hates Kaizer Chiefs," Mashonisa tells KickOff.

"Bruce Bvuma could easily be our third-choice goalkeeper for Bafana. Why is he ignoring the impressive performances of Mduduzi Shabalala and Mfundo Vilakazi?

"Kaizer Chiefs has players who fit the national team; it's just that we don't understand why Bafana Bafana overlooks our club like this. Perhaps there's a conflict between them and the Motaung family.

"It's painful for us as Chiefs fans, to be honest. Being such a large club in the country, it's disappointing that our players still can't make the Bafana Bafana squad.

"If you look closely, even the SAFA referees seem to have it out for Kaizer Chiefs.

"Our players at least deserve a place on the Bafana Bafana bench. We could voice our concerns to SAFA, but we would likely be accused of interfering with the coach's duties.

"We'll just have to console ourselves with the fact that we are qualifying for tournaments; that's the only reason I watch Bafana Bafana these days.

"I believe it will be an easy match for South Africa against Lesotho tomorrow."
