Mamelodi Sundowns defender Mosa Lebusa feels they have an edge over Orlando Pirates

Lebusa, who has been given opportunities to impress in the Sundowns backline, is confident they can mesmerise the Buccaneers who have been in fine form in recent weeks.

The last time Sundowns lost a league match was last season against Pirates in January at Loftus. The mission on the weekend is to ensure they keep their unbeaten run, preferably with a victory in front of their supporters.

Sundowns are fresh from a 3-1 victory against Free State Stars at the same venue, their first home victory in the league this season.

"I think we are the favourites because we are playing at home. We have the 12th man. I feel we have that spark when we play at home," the former Ajax Cape Town captain tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"It's a big game. Pirates and Sundowns is always a big clash. We don't want to ruin our momentum in the league. We are aware that everyone will be trying to ruin it. We must win the game at all costs."

Lebusa is aware that Pirates have a strong squad of players who are confident at the moment, but believes Sundowns are equally as good, or even a class above their opponents.

"Pirates are doing very well, considering they have new guys in the team. They have changed the whole dynamic of Pirates' play, but it's not about them, it's about us. We have to look at ourselves. We have Andile [Jali], we have 'Shuga' [Tiyani Mabunda]. We have quality players, if not better. We can mesmerise them."
