Kaizer Chiefs could lose out on the services of one of their star players when the season ends judging by his response to his current contract situation.
Chiefs have a number of players approaching the end of their existing deals in the coming months, including the likes of George Maluleka, Siphelele Ntshangase and Joseph Molangoane.

Amakhosi have been supposedly working hard behind the scenes to tie up some of the key players and were successful in doing so with Willard Katsande, Bernard Parker, Daniel Akpeyi and Daniel Cardoso.
However, it seems Leonardo Castro may be struggling to come to an agreement with club management as he directed any and all questions relating to his future to the hierarchy.
"Look guys, this part of the questions you can direct to the management and the manager [coach Ernst Middendorp]," said a visibly irked Castro.
"They will talk to you and that way you can find the answers."

The Colombian, who arrived at Mamelodi Sundowns back in 2015, is just a few months away from being able to acquire a permanent residency permit, which would allow him to be registered as a local rather than one of only five foreigners at any PSL club.
"I know I have the chance to be a local player, which is an advantage for any team here in South Africa," he added.
"But my focus is now to finalise the number one spot in the league, and we are working hard towards this."

The 30-year-old striker was on the verge of being axed at the start of the season but managed to convince coach Ernst Middendorp otherwise with his pre-season showing, and has since scored eight goals in 16 appearances in all competitions thus far.
