Orlando Pirates defender James Monyane says the team never lost confidence during their four-match winless run in all competitions.
The Buccaneers got back to winning ways on Tuesday with a 1-0 victory over Sekhukhune United, with a Monyane strike, separating the two sides.

Pirates have endured a gruelling schedule, after a backlog of fixtures due to their CAF Champions League campaign earlier in the season and MTN8 final participation.
The string of matches in recent weeks led to a dip in form and saw the Buccaneers bow out of the Carling Knockout to Richards Bay FC, in addition to a shock defeat to rock-bottom side Cape Town Spurs.
"Much needed win, we needed it as a team. We worked hard, never giving up, working hard in training sessions, the video sessions you know analysing our games, and this is the result," Monyane said via the Pirates media department.
The fullback returned to the starting line-up after missing the penalty shoot-out defeat to Richards Bay, as the Buccaneers face old foes Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto derby this Saturday.
"We kept on pushing, we never give up, and we came home with the three points, and it was really, really important for the fans, for the supporters for our families as well as for the badge.
"So, we worked hard and continued pushing and happy people once again. We deserve to be happy," Monyane said.
Victory over Babina Noko propelled the Buccaneers to jump four places up the table and languish in ninth spot with one game in hand.
