Dead rubber assignment for record-chasing Shalulile

Mamelodi Sundowns striker Peter Shalulile has another assignment up his sleeves through the month of November as he takes aim at moving top of the PSL all-time scoring charts.

Shalulile has moved up to 121 goals playing for a top-league South African club, bringing him within just two goals of matching Siyabonga Nomvete's haul of 123.

The Namibian has regained his scoring form having scored three in the last two matches and with Sundowns to possibly play another five games this month, it is a matter of when instead of if.

The 31-year-old has scored his goals playing for Highlands Park and The Brazilians, where he has been on double figures for the past four seasons.

Beyond the chase for the record, Shalulile has a dead rubber assignment with Namibia.
