Despite long-standing interest in his services from potential suitors, Aziz Ki chose to remain at Young Africans last season, a decision he doesn't appear to regret.
Since then, the skilfull winger has tied the knot with his new wife, Hamisa Mobetto, a Tanzanian celebrity with 12 million followers on Instagram.
The couple got married just a few months ago in a lavish three-part wedding and even travelled to Dubai for an unforgettable getaway before officially exchanging rings and vows.
The wedding attracted widespread publicity due to the couple’s fame in Tanzania.
It seems that fame is also followed by fortune, as Aziz Ki is reportedly the highest-earning footballer in the Tanzanian Premier League, with a reported salary of $240,000 (R4.5 million) per annum, according to Africa Facts Zone.
This equates to just under R400,000 on a monthly basis.
While it is still unclear whether he will leave Yanga at the end of the season, Aziz Ki could continue pocketing his lofty salary until his contract expires in June 2026.
