Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki says his charges need to improve tactically following their stalemate against Chippa United.
Although Ntseki commended his side for keeping a clean sheet, he wants his players to work harder in breaking down a deep block and was critical of them giving the ball away cheaply.
Ntseki also pointed out the importance of taking shots at goal, adding numbers to an attack and the type of crosses that are being delivered, which he says will be worked on in training.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Ntseki wants Chiefs to improve after stalemate" story:
"In Tanzania 0 goals, Botswana 0 goals and now Mabhida 0 goals. This trend is very concerning. I am glad though that our defence seems solid," says Dr Mthimkulu.
"We should go back to the 4-4-2 system, Saile should play off Ranga Chivavairo," says muatynam19780327.
"On Wednesday, Sundowns will play a much-improved Kaizer Chiefs. Kuzoshuba. I can't wait yoh!" says lwazihnzimande.
"What a game. I enjoyed it big time (defence/midfield 100%). This time we have a coach. The boys did a fantastic job but one thing though, Ntseki must make subs earlier. We've got a healthy bench, 100%. And what a performance from uKhuzani," adds lwazihnzimande.
"One Chiefs supporter said they will beat Chippa by four goals to zero and top the league standings by Monday morning. What happened because I see Pretoria teams on top?
"An empty tin makes a lot of noise," says cash.
"Ntseki is just worried for nothing, Khosi faithfuls will only get worried if he loses a game against Sundowns and Pirates. Just lose your games against all DStv Premiership clubs and nothing will happen to you," says ngwanamoshate.70.
"A mandate for a coach at Chiefs is to win against X-ray FC and Sundowns. Anything else it's a cherry on top," says His Majesty Yellow PSL Beast.
"Coach Ntseki, I'm not one who likes to call our players out, but I must say, Ngcobo is lazy, always loses the ball, and ineffective. He must be benched, start with players that finished the game moving forward!!" says user827808.
"I completely agree with you, my brother. Had we started with Mdu [Shabalala] instead of him, we might have done better," replies The godfather.
"Coach, Saile is burden in our team. He always fails to run with the ball and is not a good decision maker in the final third," says kinglovistochaka994.
"I think Saile was better as a wide player. He just needs the midfielders to pass him behind the defence," replies mashifanae.
Read: Mashego: 'I don't see Pirates winning the league'
Former Orlando Pirates striker Katlego Mashego was left unimpressed by the Buccaneers' defeat to Stellenbosch over the weekend.
Jose Riveiro's men went down 1-0 to Stellies at the Danie Craven Stadium curtesy of an Antonio van Wyk strike and the result prompted Mashego to rule Bucs out of the running for the league title.
Mashego was left uninspired by Pirates' showing, saying it was more or less of what he saw last season. He also questioned where the goals will be coming from this season.
Here's how the readers reacted to Mashego's comments on the "Mashego: 'I don't see Pirates winning the league'" story:
"One game and boom, the whole season is decided. What utter bull coming from a former professional player.
"And to show he is offering zero tangible insight; he mentions almost all departments that they need new players. That would be destabilising to the team. Remember, Pirates closed the season on a high. I'm disappointed in Mashego's analytical skills," says Dukwase.
"He won the 1st treble with us and thereafter went to the media to say he doesn't see Pirates winning a treble ever again. The rest is history," says Peace be with you.
"I'm just curious to see how Bucs will fare with so many competitions coming," says makhause(2).
"Former players hardly ever say anything positive, so I never take them seriously," says Zam d king buccaneer.
"This guy is our former player but is always against us. Yes, I agree with him in terms of the striking department but other than that, we are covered. It's too early to predict what will happen and even big teams like Man City don't perform well from the start and we saw that against Arsenal, but they'll come right. Up the Bucs," says morewasn.
"It's your opinion, we will now wait until May next year to see how true it is," says tseliso24.
"On the signings, I do agree. We need a reliable goal scorer and a commanding defensive midfielder. Big players," says khazamula37.
"Too early to say such things to be honest. Bucs played well in that game but did not win. Other teams were way too disappointing than the Bucs game. Stellies are solid and no pushovers, so do not undermine them. To say a team will win or lose the title from a first match in a long season is not logical or reasonable.
"There are no good strikers lying around in the PSL. So, midfielders need to be used to get goals! Bucs is good in all positions except the strikers, like most teams, honestly. But to question their midfield and defence is wrong to me. They are well covered there," says khothakhosi.
"It's the beginning of the season, let's just give them 5 to 10 games and then we can judge them," says Bra Zee.
