Orlando Pirates were denied their second win of the DStv Premiership season after playing out a 1-1 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Tuesday night.

Midfielder Goodman Mosele equalised with a class finish against his parent club to deny the Buccaneers their second win of the season.

Fullback Bandile Shandu justified his selection with a first-half strike, with Zakhele Lepasa failing to capitalise on at least two chances in the second half.

Jose Riveiro's men sit in fourth place on the league table, managing a win, loss and now a draw.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Bucs denied second league win by Mosele" story:

"Soon, Sundowns will have an unassailable gap, Pirates can't chase and close a gap of more than 7 points given the amount of games these two teams will play this season," says makhause(2).

"Let's accept defeat and move on. You win some and lose some. Up the Bucs," says morewasn.

"Who is defeated here? Winning by 5 goals over the weekend and today playing a draw, but I understand you over celebrated from the weekend and thinking that steam of toilet paper from your team will win every game," replies bhekilekhuleni6.

"Drawing against Chippa is a loss to me," claps back morewasn.

"Don't be surprised when Sundowns win the league for seven times in-a-row while Bucs drop points left right. Downs rule!" says Downs=Winning.

"I think someone must have a chat with Mofokeng, he must remember to be a team player. I think he wanted to outshine Lepasa, he was delaying passes and crosses which I think took a lot out of our game tonight.

"Saleng didn't seemed interested in playing until the Chippa goal came. All in all, it was not that bad. We need to work on a few things though," says THEBIGBUCS.

"The team doesn't have the patience to play the ball open up spaces, then run to those spaces. Instead, once the ball reaches the middle, they now want to sprint forward in all angles," says beloth.

"It's has been the case for a very long time, and nothing has changed," replies winterv.me.

"This lineup reminded me of the first game against Stellies. Hotto in, instead of Mako or Maela," says The Briber.

Read: 'Two of Sundowns' goals were offside', rules top referee

Former South African topflight referee, Victor Hlungwani reckons two of Mamelodi Sundowns' goals that came against Kaizer Chiefs and Moroka Swallows last week should not have counted.

Hlungwani said on SABC Sport that Peter Shalulile's strike against Chiefs in the league last Wednesday should've been chalked off, as well as Themba Zwane's winner against Swallows in the MTN8.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "'Two of Sundowns' goals were offside', rules top referee" story:

"The way people are crying foul about those two goals, as if Sundowns won all those league trophies for six years in a row and other trophies through dubious goals.

"If that is the case then, the very same Victor Hlungwane was involved in giving Sundowns those dubious goals, because he was a referee through all those years," says bhekilekhuleni6.

"There is no use crying over the spilt milk. This is nothing new when teams play against Sundowns. If it's not penalties against the opposite team, then it's a red card. Motsepe money is doing all the work for them," says Rio Da Khosi.

"Those two goals were offside. Finish and klaar. But mostly the goals are just the result. If anyone could look at how many rough tackles are usually committed by Sundowns players from the midfield to Shalulile up front without being judged, the results would be absurd," says msanisto.

"Bro I love Motsepe for what he has been and doing on assisting when PSL had no sponsors, and when he sponsored everything with his own money, but I have realized exactly what you have highlighted my brother, Tebogo Mokoena is very rough and guess what he smiles and get away with everything, it is like their players know that they are untouchable, it is disgusting," replies user534079.

"We said it over the last two seasons already, that Sundowns are beneficiaries of dubious officiating," says Danito 4 Life.

"I want us to get at least three penalties over those two legs. We have suffered a lot in the past when we played them," says Minwana Phezulu.

"They relegated Black Leopards with these types of offside goals. I remember that game very clearly. They received penalties that do not exist. We are not surprised by how much they benefit. It has been happening for years now, they continue still without any Ref trying to stop them," says khothakhosi.

"As long as it's against Chiefs, I'm happy we benefitted. They benefitted a lot during the Bamjee era. They are still paying for sins committed during the Apartheid era. They owe us a Rothmans cup," says Saavedra.

"Mr Hlungwane, whenever Sundowns play, you must go to the stadium and draw the offside line," says crybaby.

"Everybody benefits I must say, but when Chiefs benefit, they cry and don't forget. Same applies when legit decisions go against us, no one says anything and everyone forgets very quickly," says Mokaubere.

"Mvala could have been booked for kicking Mmodi in the first quarter of the Chiefs vs Sundowns game and also Mudau for stamping on Du Preez's ankle. He should have been given straight red.

"Motsepe's millions are playing cards there. Brown envelope," says abelselebaleng.
