Milutin Sredojevic: Zamalek SC President Mortada Mansour reveals Micho's massive wages

Former Orlando Pirates head coach Milutin Sredojevic is now one of the highest paid coaches in Africa, according to Zamalek president Mortada Mansour.
Sredojevic, 49, tendered his resignation at Pirates on the eve of their MTN8 clash against Highlands Park last Friday, citing personal reasons for ending his two-year stay.   READ: Pirates confirm Micho resignation   But the Serbian tactician was quickly roped in at Zamalek, with the Mansour confirming his arrival less than 24 hours after the shock announcement.   Upon his official unveiling he stated the move to the five-time CAF Champions League winners was a 'dream' move, as he accepted a one-year deal with the White Knights.   READ: Micho revels in 'dream' Zamalek job   And details of his lucrative contract have seemingly been revealed with the eccentric club boss speaking to Egyptian media on Thursday.
"Micho signed a one-season contract for US$1.2-million (R18m). The contract includes a release clause stipulating a compensation worth two months of the coach's salary‚" Mansour said.   Mansour has often been subject of exagerrated statements in the past and has often lied directly to media, as was the case when he announced Aleksandar Stanojevic as the new manager last week.   Only to backtrack on the decision a day later, claiming it was a 'test to see who the club's enemies are'.   However, Micho who became the club's 16th permanent head coach in five years, reiterated that the lure of the North African giants was an offer he simply could not refuse.
