CAF Champions League wrap

Young Africans 1-1 Zesco United

Zambian giants Zesco United netted late to snatch a 1-1 draw against Tanzanian side Young Africans in the CAF Champions League second-round, first-leg clash on Saturday afternoon in Der es Salaam.

Patrick Sibomana broke the deadlock for the hosts in the 27th minute but the Tanzanian outfit were denied the winner as Thabani Kamosoko snatched the equaliser deep in stoppage time.

Cano Sport 0-2 Al Ahly

Egyptian giants Al Ahly cruised to a 2-0 victory over Equatoguinean side Cano Sport on Saturday evening at Nuevo Estadio de Malabo.

Salah Mohsen and Walid Soliman found the two goals for the Reds Devils in the second stanza.

Generation Foot 2-1 Zamalek

Egyptian outfit Zamalek went down 2-1 to Generation Foot of Senegal on Saturday evening at Stade Lat Dior.

Mame Gueye found an early goal for the hosts in the 12th minute before Generation doubled their lead in the 65th minute, but Mostafa Mohamed got a crucial away goal for Milutin Sredojevic's charges with 17 minutes remaining.

JS Kabylie 2-0 Horoya AC

Horoya AC of Guinea went down to a 2--0 defeat by JS Kabylie of Algeria on Saturday evening at Stade 1er Novembre 1954.

The Algerian side found two goals early in the second stanza and will feel confident of reaching the group stages after managing to keep a clean-sheet at home.
