Manchester United have reportedly rejected offers for Mason Greenwood as they consider keeping the player beyond this season.

Manchester United have now reportedly taken a stance on Mason Greenwood's future at the club.

The English striker remains isolated from club activities despite all charges of attempted rape, assault, and coercive control against him being dropped in February, just over a year after he was arrested and charged by the Crown Prosecution Service.

United are currently conducting an internal investigation into the matter, while it is also believed the player has since reunited with his alleged victim, with the pair said to be expecting a baby.

It is thought United have three possible courses of action regarding Greenwood's future with them: letting the player leave on loan, cancelling his contract with full pay, or to reinstate him into the side next season.

It now appears the Red Devils have ruled out the first option in the interim.

According to The Athletic, the Manchester outfit turned down loan offers for the 21-year-old's services from clubs in Turkey, with a view to either reintegrating him into Erik ten Hag's squad or parting ways with him only at the end of the season.

No decision has been confirmed yet, but the report suggests that the career-threatening situation has changed Greenwood's perception of what it means to play for the club, with the forward having had a number of disciplinary issues in the past, including hosting parties in breach of social-distancing regulations during the coronavirus pandemic.

A source told the abovementioned publication: "He would run through a brick wall to be back playing for United now."

His last appearance for the club came in a 1-0 win over West Ham United at Old Trafford in January 2022, while his last goal came against Brentford just 11 days before he was arrested.
