A former Liverpool star has sent a warning to Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag about his future ahead of the FA Cup clash against the Reds.
England's two most successful sides will renew their rivalry at Old Trafford on Sunday, with the winner advancing to the FA Cup semi-final.
Former Reds defender Jamie Carragher feels a bad result against Liverpool could spell the end for Ten Hag.

"There is no sugar coating the importance of Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final for the Dutch coach," Ten Hag wrote in his column for the Telegraph.
"The first of the Old Trafford meetings with Klopp between now and April 7 will have a massive bearing on how much faith there is left in Ten Hag to revive the club.
"A positive result can help shift the perception of him. If he goes on to win the FA Cup, perspectives of this season will radically change, especially given the caliber of opponents still in the competition.
"Lose, and the international break will feel like an eternity, the 13 days until United’s next match away at Brentford being filled with speculation, all of it negative.
"It will be clearer by Sunday night if Sir Jim Ratcliffe is green-lighting or pausing the hunt for an alternative to Ten Hag to spearhead another rebuilding process."
The two sides played to a goalless draw at Anfield earlier in the season, although United have not lost to Liverpool in a FA Cup clash held at Old Trafford in the past.
