One of Europe's biggest clubs is now reportedly preparing to sell a few players in order to fund a deal for Manchester United outcast Mason Greenwood.

Speculation around Greenwood's future remains in effect as neither his parent club United nor his representatives have provided a formal update on what next season entails for the player.

The striker is currently out on loan at Getafe after being offloaded to Spain at the beginning of the season, after it was decided that keeping him at Old Trafford this term would have generated massive backlash given that he was charged with attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Those charges were dropped in February 2023, little over a year after his arrest in January 2022.

For some, allowing Greenwood back at the club would be nearly impossible, and his potential return was put under significant review, with considerations made regarding the side's commercial partners and women's team.

Moreover, the arrival of Sir Jim Ratcliffe as new co-owner is set to also be a factor in Greenwood's future, with the business tycoon in charge of footballing operations at the club

However, with the English star having impressed in Spain as he registered eight goals and provided six assists in 28 games in all competitions so far for Getafe, several clubs have reportedly been keeping tabs on him, including teams in Turkey, Spain, and Italy.

Now, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are ready to sell two players, Samuel Iling-Junior and Filip Kostic, in order to fund a move for Greenwood at the end of the campaign.

Bianconeri director Cristiano Giuntoli is said to be a huge admirer of the United star, with the attacker said to have joined Edon Zhegrova (Lille), Felipe Anderson and Mattia Zaccagni (both Lazio) on Juve's list of 2024/25 transfer targets.

United, meanwhile, are preparing for their next match, which will be away against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday, and will need a positive result their if they are to clinch a spot in the EPL's top four.
