One of the African giants in the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League has made an official offer for a former South African top-flight star.
The thrilling knockout stages of the Champions League gets underway after the international break later this month, with the likes of Al Ahly and Mamelodi Sundowns considered favourites to win the title.
Perhaps surprisingly, Tanzania boasts the most teams left in the competition, with Yanga SC and Simba SC still remaining.

The latter, who are set to face Al Ahly in the last eight, have now made an offer for a new striker.
Fellow Tanzanian side Azam FC have confirmed that they received an offer from Simba for former SuperSport United star Prince Dube.
The Zimbabwean international recently informed the club he wants to leave and handed in a transfer request, which Azam accepted.
The club management want $300 000 (R5.6 million) for the forward’s release, according to Soccer24.
The statement reads: "Azam FC confirms that it has received an offer from Simba of Tanzania and Al Hilal of Sudan in need of player Prince Dube, a citizen of Zimbabwe.
"In addition, Azam FC welcomes other clubs to send their offers as the doors are still open."
