Rulani Mokwena and Mamelodi Sundowns have been praised by Wydad Casablanca's boss ahead of the second leg of the African Football League final on Sunday.

Wydad Casablanca manager Adil Ramzi has reserved massive praise for Mamelodi Sundowns and Rulani Mokwena ahead of the second leg of the inaugural African Football League final.

The Red Castle's boss was the first to arrive for the AFL final second leg's pre-match proceedings as the anticipation for the competition's first-ever final approached fever pitch.

The Moroccan tactician and his charges arrived in the South African capital with a slender 2-1 advantage, and with the Botola Pro champions having never lost a continental competition knockout clash at the home of Masandawana, the 46-year-old will be fancying his men's chances of becoming the AFL's first-ever champions.

The former PSV Eindhoven youth coach, however, was more than complimentary of not only his contemporary but of Sundowns as an institution ahead of the second leg on Sunday, which will kick off at 15:00 (CAT).

"About what he I see from Sundowns as a football team? I have much respect for Sundowns," Ramzi told reporters at the pre-match press conference.

"I said also in Morocco that, for the first time, I feel that football is going to play against football, 100%.

"So, I love that because I also learnt football as a player and as a coach in Holland to play football.

"This is a compliment to the coach and Sundowns. He has a clear vision he wants to do it [play football].

"This is our project as coaches in Africa. In Casablanca, we saw that it was a big game, in terms of level, and I expect that the game of Sunday will also be a high level and the best team will win."
