Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Siyabonga Ngezana has moved closer to his first career silverware with his Romanian club FCSB (formerly Steaua Bucuresti).
Ngezana’s 29th appearance of the season might have ended in a 2-2 draw against Rapid Bucuresti in a local derby at the Arena Nationala, but it moved them closer to the title.

It was another run of 90 minutes for Ngezana as he partnered Vlad Chiriches at the back.
FCSB took the lead and then trailed within the first 16 minutes, before they equalised just before the hour mark.
With the point earned the 1986 European champions moved to 45 points and now need just five points from the remaining five games in the Championship Play-Offs.
They play Pavol Safranko’s Sepsi OSK on Wednesday and could be crowned champions for the first time since 2015 if Universitatea Craiova Farul Constanta both lose their games.
