The 21-year-old defender joins the Dube Birds on a 2 year year deal with the option to add after leaving Tuks as a free agent.

Allen was one of the stand out performers at a University of Pretoria side that finished second place in the GladAfrica Championship and went as far as the Semi-Finals of the 2022 Nedbank Cup.

He was also awarded the Nedbank Cup's Most Promising Young Player of the Tournament award, fending off competition from teammate Luvuyo Phewa and Royal AM's Mfundo Thikazi.

Allan was linked with two Serie A sides Hellas Verona and Spenzia internationall while locally both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates had reportedly shown interest before he opted to pen to paper at Dobsonville.

After surviving the relagation battle, Swallows are keen to put on a move convicing display and have prioritised early recruitment.

While Allan is the first signing unveiled by The Birds, it is understood that the club is also finalising the signings of severla players including Chiefs duo Darrel Matsheke and Lebohang Lesako among others.
