No less than six SuperSport United players are set to miss out on the Mamelodi Sundowns clash.

According to an insider, the club's top striker and Dstv Premiership joint top goalscorer Bradley Grobler will not be part of the team that will be travelling to Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Monday after catching some flu.

Grobler is being currently tested for a possible Coronavirus.

Grant Margeman, Thabang Sibanyoni, Ricardo Goss, Thulani Hlatshwayo and Thatayaone Dithlokwe will also not be part of the league clash.

"Margeman, Sibanyoni, Goss, Grobler, Dithlokwe and Hlatshwayo are all out for the Sundowns game," A source tells KickOff.

"Margeman, Sibanyoni and Goss are on-loan from Sundowns so can't play.

"Grobler it's Covid, and Dithlokwe and Hlatshwayo are injured."

Contacted by this publication, Grobler says he was still waiting for test results as currently, nobody was certain.

"Ja I'm struggling a bit, possibly it might be it [Covid], we don't know yet, it depends on the results and all that, we still waiting to find out," He tells KickOff.

"It's one of those things that happens [missing Sundowns match] at least it won't be a long layoff at all.

"I'm already feeling better than the last day or so.

"So ja it's frustrating but this is part of life you know. It is what it is let's wait and see.

"It's tough to miss out, this is a big game, but then again whether I play or don't play I mean we've got players that can fill in."
