Despite making frantic efforts to secure former Bafana Bafana mentor Stuart Baxter, Sekhukhune United now appears likely to settle for Lehlohonolo Seema as their new head coach.
Sekhukhune is in search of a new coach after parting ways with Brandon Truter last week.

McDonald Makhubedu has taken charge as the head coach for the Limpopo-based side while still searching for the right candidate for the hot seat.
Sekhukhune United is eager to bring Baxter back to South Africa, but the buy-out clause with his current employer, Helsingborgs IF in Sweden, remains a stumbling block for the former Kaizer Chiefs mentor to return to the country.
"Stuart Baxter has a buy-out clause with his team in Sweden," a source within the club tells KickOff.
"Sekhukhune are very keen to bring Baxter back to South Africa, but the big issue now is the huge amount of the buy-out clause.
"The option now is Lehlohonolo Seema. They need a coach with papers that will also allow him to sit on the bench during the CAF Confederations Cup games,” said the source.
Besides Bafana Bafana, Stuart Baxter has also coached Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United in the country. The former Bafana coach remains the last coach to win a trophy with Amakhosi after claiming the Absa Premiership in May 2015.
