Lehlohonolo Seema has only been at Sekhukhune United for four months, but such has been the impression that he has left at the club that they have now cruised to their best league run ever.

Seema took over from Brandon Truter last November with the club sinking after exits in the MTN8 and Carling Knockout, along with a disappointing start in the league of three wins from the opening 10 games.

The 43-year-old has rolled up his sleeves in getting down to work and winning over his bosses with an impressive line of results in the DStv Premiership.

Sekhukhune are now the most in-form team in the league after five wins in a row in matches against Orlando Pirates, Moroka Swallows, Royal AM, Golden Arrows and Richards Bay FC.

This has been the best run of league results for Seema throughout a coaching career that has taken him from Bloemfontein Celtic to Chippa United, Black Leopards, Golden Arrows and Polokwane City.

Five consecutive victories is a first for Babina Noko in their short history in top-flight football.

Their best run of league results before Seema arrived was when they won four in a row at the beginning of last year just weeks after Truter took over.

Those wins came against Marumo Gallants, Kaizer Chiefs, Stellenbosch FC and Moroka Swallows.

The latest line of results have shot Sekhukhune up to third place on the standings with 33 points, setting them up for another push for a CAF place.

Seema has collected 19 points from a maximum of 24.

This is an incredible feat associated with six-time consecutive league winners Mamelodi Sundowns.

The former Lesotho captain is in his sixth coaching job following the end of a playing career that had him arrive in the PSL as a teenager in 1998.
