Former Mamelodi Sundowns defender David Kannemeyer believes the club's fall from first position will be short-lived.
Eric Tinkler’s Cape Town City ascended to the top of the DStv Premiership standings after recording their sixth win in a row with a 1-0 away win over Golden Arrows.
"Sundowns will still win the league," Kannemeyer tells KickOff.

"Sundowns are a very good group together, and they are powerful.
"I don't think being second is a big issue to them.
"Remember there is still a second round left. I don't think they are worried.
"With, still five games in hand I think there is still a lot to play for. I don't see them losing all five games.
"They are the strongest team this season and I believe they will still win the league without any problem.
"City they are doing well at the moment, and the second round will find them in a good position.
"It's early days and City they must enjoy it while they are there.
"They are only sitting there because Sundowns is playing in Africa at the moment (the CAF Champions League).
"And I'm sure Sundowns will bounce back. City they must make copies of the log table and keep it safe because will soon get back to normal."
On Wednesday Sundowns will come up against neighbours SuperSport United at the Lucas Moripe Stadium, and they will be looking for a win that will see them get back on top of the table.
