accreditation

Ngobeni, 24, featured for the South Africa national team this month when they won the 2021 COSAFA Cup and has now made the switch back to his hometown.

As reported by snl24.com/kickoff earlier this week, he joins his former Celtic teammate Neo Maema to make the move to Chloorkop this transfer window and will look to further his career within the star-studded squad.

"Mamelodi Sundowns are delighted to welcome left-back Sifiso Ngobeni from Bloemfontein Celtic. The Mamelodi-born defender returns to his hometown to represent The Brazilians following the signing of a 5-year deal," the club statement read.

Ngobeni amassed 51 appearances for Siwelele since making his professional debut in September 2019 after his promotion from the DStv Diski Challenge squad.
