Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Humphrey Mlwane says the club's head coach Cavin Johnson might regret his decision not to add to his misfiring strike force.
With the January transfer window now closed, Mlwane says the Soweto giants must make sure they find a proven goalscorer before it's too late.
Amakhosi currently have Christian Saile, Ranga Chivaviro, and Efmamjjasond Gonzalez as recognized strikers, and between them, they have so far contributed only five goals.
"I heard the coach through his comments saying he is okay with the current strike force," Mlwane tells KickOff.

"He is the one who works with these strikers daily, so I think he knows what he is doing.
"But I think he should have at least one more striker. Ranga Chivaviro has scored only two goals since joining.
"On the other hand, Gonzalez has not scored even once, but our coach is happy with the strike force.
"But to be honest we no longer have quality strikers in the country, hence the likes of Chiefs don't have a strong striking force," he added.

"We need to try someone else. Chivaviro arrived carrying an injury and Gonzalez has been acclimatising ever since he arrived.
"Maybe Gonzalez he is not getting supply from the midfield, but because the team wants to win, as a striker you must not expect enough chances, you need to grab whatever opportunity you are given.
"I don't think the current strikers are Kaizer Chiefs material, to be honest. But that's my opinion.
